University of Hawaii ADB Scholarship 2025| Fully Funded Master’s in the USA

The University of Hawaii ADB Scholarship 2025 offers an excellent opportunity for international students from ADB member countries to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree in the United States. Funded by the Asian Development Bank and the Government of Japan, this scholarship covers full tuition, travel expenses, monthly stipends, accommodation, health insurance, and a U.S. visa for selected students. Scholars will join an active academic and cultural community at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa (UHM), participating in East-West Centre (EWC) programmes aimed at developing leadership and global awareness.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen and current resident of an ADB Developing Member Country.
• Age: Under 35 years of age at the time of application.
• Education: Hold a four-year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Work Experience: At least two years of full-time professional work experience after obtaining a university degree.
• Language Proficiency: English proficiency with minimum scores as follows:
  • TOEFL: 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), 79-80 (iBT)
  • IELTS: 6.5 overall
  • DUOLINGO: 95
• Additional Requirements:
  • Applicants should not currently work or reside in a country outside of their home country.
  • Candidates who have previously studied abroad or hold a Master’s degree are ineligible.

2. Official transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended
3. Degree certificates from each post-secondary institution attended
4. English proficiency test results (TOEFL, IELTS, or DUOLINGO)
