Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Africa Scholarship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of an African country.
- Academic Admission:
- Apply and be unconditionally admitted to one of the Master’s programs at Wageningen University by the given deadline.
- Have a First Class Honours degree or equivalent.
- Achieve a GPA of 80% or higher in a bachelor’s degree program.
- Education Background: Preference will be given to candidates who have not yet obtained a Master’s degree.
Eligible MSc Programs

Selection Process Timeline
- February 1, 2025: Deadline to apply for an MSc program.
- March 13, 2025: Selected candidates receive invitations to participate in the ASP selection process (approximately 40 candidates will be invited).
- March 25, 2025: Deadline for assignment submission.
- April 8, 2025: Communication of the shortlist for online interviews (around 20 candidates will be interviewed).
- April 22–May 1, 2025: Online interviews conducted via MS Teams.
- May 8, 2025: Final selection results announced.

- Apply for Admission:
Submit your application for a Master’s program at Wageningen University & Research before February 1, 2025. - Invitation-Based Process:
Only eligible candidates who meet all criteria and have submitted a complete application will be invited to the ASP selection process. No direct applications for the scholarship are accepted. - Selection Procedure:
- Complete the assigned tasks by the deadline.
- Attend online interviews if shortlisted.
