Fellowship Benefits Patrick Henry History Fellowship 2025 at Washington College
Successful candidates will receive:
- A stipend of $45,000.

Eligibility Requirements Patrick Henry History Fellowship 2025 at Washington College
Applicants must fulfill these criteria:
- Be a published writer or established scholar with a significant ongoing project, such as a book, podcast, or museum exhibition.
- Focus on topics related to the history or legacy of the U.S. founding era.
- Be in the writing phase of the project, with research mostly completed.
- Note: Dissertation projects are ineligible, and first-book projects are discouraged unless the applicant has an extensive publication history.
Selection Criteria
The fellowship selection process evaluates candidates on:
- The originality and relevance of their project.
- The quality of writing samples and the overall project description.
- The applicant’s ability to complete the project within the fellowship period.
- The potential of the project to contribute to national discussions about America’s history.

Fellowship Location
